The Boston Dance Company, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1992 by James Reardon and Clyde Nantais with the vision of offering high quality dance to underserved communities. The Boston Tea Party began in 1998 as an annual party that attracted dancers primarily from the East Coast. It continued to grow in popularity to become one of the premier dance events in the country. The event attracts more than 1400 dancers from across the United States and around the world. The group’s colorful performances are directed by Anna Kravets, who came to New England from Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2000.
