Come join us for another fun filled afternoon of Argentine Tango at How Bazar, the coolest spot in town! This event is perfect for anyone from beginners to seasoned pros to improve their tango skills and to explore connection to oneself and others. Be present, grounded, and inspired to dance the afternoon away, mingle with new and old friends and immerse yourself in the beauty and passion of Argentine Tango.
Guest teacher: El Turco (Istanbul/Montreal)
Burak Ozkosem “El Turco,” distinguished by his creative flair and expressive style, excels in both traditional and innovative interpretations of tango music. As a DJ and instructor, his eclectic selection bridges the classical with the contemporary, inviting dancers into the rich tapestry of tango's soul.
His method is not about reinventing Tango but about delving deeper into its traditional roots, extracting every movement from the rich tango lexicon while paying homage to the music's inherent cadences and rhythms.
