Ongoing Thursdays, 7:30-10:30 pm. Gainesville Swing Dancing every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, you can find us at the Rosa B Williams Center. We kick off the night with a one-hour beginner lesson, followed by two hours of social dancing in a beautiful, air-conditioned hardwood dance hall.
We cannot wait to hit the dance floor with all of you.
No partner or experience needed.
Parking:
Free street parking is available in front of or beside the building, as well as in the nearby Friends of the Library lot.
Admission:
Free, donations encouraged via cash or Venmo.

Sat 23 Mar 2024, 12 pm. Come join us for a full day workshop celebrating the vibrant Lindy hop scene in Florida. Our event, SSO 9: Homegrown - A Taste of Florida, promises an exciting lineup of instructors from across the state. Learn about different Lindy hop scenes and what makes them unique.
$40 for the afternoon workshops and evening dances.

Join us for a fantastic Sunday Funday.
At 1 pm, kick things off with our inclusive Teacher Summit. It is an open forum panel where we will dive into all things swing dance teaching and foster connections between local scenes. Plus, you will get to mingle with the instructors from this year's Sweet Swingouts.
If you are musically inclined, bring along your instruments because at 2 pm, we are starting a Jazz Jam session. I will have digital copies of the Lindy Focus jam book for everyone to use.
Not a musician? No worries. Bring along your favorite board and card games to share.
