We will have a special workshop by renowned dancer Sonia Rivera from Tampa, FL. You absolutely do not want to miss this opportunity. The workshop will focus on the musicality for dancing. All levels are welcome.

Bio
Sonia Rivera:
Sonia Rivera has been dancing professional salsa for 21 years and teaching for 17 years. She has vast experience as a dance instructor and choreographer working with numerous dance companies, locally and internationally. Besides being a teacher, choreographer, and team manager, she has also been working on her Latin Dance book, adding author to her titles. The last 6 years have also brought another title to her very exciting life, as of costume designer, with her line, Diamond Collections, hitting the floor running in 2015 and creating on her first year over 200 costumes for different dance companies.
Sonia’s teaching portfolio is quite extensive. She has created over 250 custom choreography numbers for groups spread all over the world, and not just in Salsa, but Acrobatic Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Cha-Cha as part of her repertoire. She was recognized for her trajectory at the Los Angeles Salsa Congress in 2015 receiving the award for touching lives thru salsa. She has been stage manager at the Orlando Salsa Congress, Atlanta Salsa Congress, New Orleans Salsa Bachata Congress, Baila Tampa, Houston salsa congress, Sarasota salsa festival, and Toronto salsa congress children and teens and this past year had the honor of doing so also for all the Aventura Dance Cruises.
Sonia has worked hard to expand the dance culture of the city of Tampa. Her repertoire of classes cover rhythms of Salsa on One and Two, New York and Puerto Rican style, Cha-Cha, Afro-Cuban, Lady’s Styling, Shines for both Men and Women, Musicality, Bomba, Plena, Pachanga, and more. She teaches basic, intermediate, and advanced classes to all ages. Her unconventional techniques for understanding dance are highly esteemed in the industry and recommended for all students.
