Join the The Historic Thomas Centerr in celebration of Bulla Cubana.
Start your evening with an Artist Talk from Eduardo Sarmiento, the artist showcased in the ongoing exhibit Intimate States | Work on Paper by Eduardo Sarmiento, and end it with live Latin music by Elio Piedra "Bringing The Fiesta to you" and Cuban dancing. Experience the artistic and movement Bulla Cubanabana represents at this special Historic Thomas Center event.
Evening schedule:
7:30 – 8:30 pm Artist Talk in the Gallery
8:30 – 10:30 pm Live Music and Cuban Dancing, featuring Cuban musician, Elio Piedra "Bringing The Fiesta to you" and his band.
Admission is free. Light snacks and cocktails available for a small fee.
Bulla Cubana, a celebration of arts and culture promoting the exchange of ideas and inspiration between Cuba and North Central Florida. Bulla Cubana’s 2017 inaugural festival received the City of Gainesville’s Individual Arts Award.
Taking place in cultural centers of Gainesville, including the Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention, the Harn Museum of Art, the Hippodrome Theatre, and more, Bulla Cubanana showcases the talent of invited fine artists, muralists, dancers, musicians, chefs, photographers and filmmakers from March 9–24, 2019; please visit
