2:30 Waltz. 3:30 Beginners lesson, a half hour before the contra dance starts. No partner needed. Please wear clean, soft-soled shoes to protect the floor.
This is an advanced contra dance for experienced dancers willing to be challenged and to enhance their dance skills. In brief, experienced means that you know contra moves without being taught. You know how to recover from a lapse, assist your partner and execute flourishes safely and on time. Advanced dances are 5th Sundays from 4-7 pm.
