As you may know, the City of Gainesville Dept. of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs has recently renovated the Rosa B Williams Community Center, so it is now the Rosa B Williams Dance Center, complete with sprung wood floor and sound system. We have accepted their offer of a time slot this Sunday 2 to 5 pm to come and try out the Rosa B Williams Dance Center's main dance floor as our first waltz event there.
The cost is only five dollars per person for up to three hours.
Note that we are also still planning to hold our regular 3rd Sunday Waltz Brunch next Sunday July 16th at our regular time 10:30 to 1:30 pm. Watch for more information about our regular 3rd Sunday waltz brunch soon.
So come on over this Sunday and join us. Bring your soft-soled dance shoes and water bottle. Optionally, bring a snack to share and your favorite waltz dance tunes.
