Mon 6 Feb 2017, 5:30-7:30 pm. 5:30 to 6:30 pm Hustle.
6:30 to 7:30 pm Lindy Style Swing.
All levels. Suitable for beginners and those with experience. No partner needed. Couples friendly. You do not need to rotate.
Two awesomely fun dances. The exhilarating Hustle. This is the dance that kept partner dancing alive during the 1970s and 1980s. Hustle inspired the cool moves you see in Salsa. Hustle helps you learn precision and turning.
Lindy Style Swing is the most versatile of the partner dances. We dance to the great music of the classic swing and jazz era as well as lots of newer music up to contemporary times. You dance at a comfortable speed. Lindy Style Swing is a great dance for learning musicality and improvisation. If you are a West Coast Swing dancer, you can use all your West Coast Swing moves in Lindy.

Who: Everyone can come. The beginner class is geared for people who have never danced before or who want to practice the basics. The intermediate class is for those who have been to at least some classes and is for you if you feel ready and confident enough to learn some new steps. The advanced class is for those who have been dancing for a long while now and will feature more complicated steps, so ask a teacher to make sure you are experienced enough for this level.
What to wear: Bring a thick pair of socks to dance in. If you own a pair of salsa shoes or jazz or ballet flats, those work great too. Fancy shoes are not necessary. Reitz Union, Dance Studio A, UF Campus, Gainesville. Free. UF Argentine Tango Club - [facebook][email][events]

Mon 13 Feb 2017, 5:30-7:30 pm.
