Thu 7 Nov, 6-7 pm. The follow-up class to Super Simple Swing Dancing 101. Good for any beginning dancers, as well as intermediate dancers who want to improve their basics. Learn the 5 basic 6-count patterns and the 8-count rhythm turn that form the structure for all types of swing dancing. No partner needed. Rotating partners is not required. You will have an opportunity to practice through out the night. You are welcome stay for the all levels swing class that follows at 7 pm for no extra charge. Thu 7 Nov, 7-8:30 pm. Doors open at 7, class starts at 7:10 and goes to 8:10 with practice until 8:30. This is a six week series for all types of swing and a wide variety of music. This is a fun session for all levels except novices. Novices should take Super Simple Swing 101 first. There will be lots of dance time. Learning will focus on fundamentals, communication, improvisation and musicality, so you can have more fun by expressing yourself with your partner to the music. You are welcome to come early at 6 pm to help out and get in practice during Super Simple Swing. Sign up via Santa Fe College Community Education 352-395-5193.
