8:30-9:30 Hustle for all levels, lesson and dancing. Some dance experience helpful.

The sessions are structured with simple lessons and a lot of dance time, so you actually do get to dance. We rotate partners every dance, so you get to dance the same amount as everyone else.

The 7 to 8:30 Lindy Swing Rhythm Turn Series is a four week series on October 2, 9, 23 and 30 for putting your Lindy Swing Rhythm Turn into practice. October 16 is a special event West Coast Swing workshop with visiting professional dancer Danielle Blouin.

In the Rhythm Turn Series, you will learn numerous ways to add the rhythm turn to your dancing, connecting to 6-count movements, how to signal the difference between 6-count and 8-count and other number moves, how to dance to the music, adding Lindy styling, various pattern combinations, improvising your own moves, fine tuning your precision, exploring variations and how to communicate them without your partner knowing them in advance.

The structure of the Lindy Swing Rhythm Series classes is:

7 to 7:30 - Lindy Swing lesson, mainly teaching, starting with some exercises on basic footwork.

7:30 to 8 - Transition from teaching to structured dancing based on the needs of the class at the time.

8 to 8:30 - Structured dancing with partner rotation so everyone gets to dance the same amount, and some short instructional tips between dances.

No partner needed. Some dance experience needed. If you have no organized dance experience, come to the new beginners class at 6.

Lindy is the mother of all swing dances, the simplest, most varied and most versatile. When you know Lindy, you can expand your repetoire and dance to any swing music on any size floor, no matter how crowded.

Hustle is from the Disco of the 1970s, with a heart pounding (not loud, but steady) beat that keeps you in constant motion. Guaranteed to get your endorphins flowing, keep you smiling and build up your stamina. Among the most exhilirating of social dances.

Cost: $10 general, $5 students for the whole evening. Includes Israeli Dancing on Monday night at B'nai Israel at no additional charge.

Special program, the More You Dance the More You Save.

Attend 1 other organized dance session during the prior week and Sunday night is only $5 general and $3 students.

Attend 2 other organized dance sessions during the prior week and Sunday night is free.
