Featuring Kira Seamon At Borders Bookstore (511 Boylston Street Boston, MA) Saturday, December 04 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Local author, David Ira Rottenberg, will entertain children at the Borders Bookstore, on Boylston Street in Boston, on Saturday, Dec.4th by reading aloud his charming story "Gwendolyn, the Graceful Pig".
Contacted by the author to perform during the reading, ballerina Kira Seamon, displays versatility as she portrays all the characters in the story during her fun, 1-Woman dance performance. Come see 1) Gwendolyn, the cute pig that would like to learn to dance 2) Omar, Gwendolyn's football-playing pig friend who is friendly but CLUMSY! and 3) Natasha, the best ballet teacher in "ze vorld"! Fully costumed, Kira Seamon also created a brand new score and her own whimsical choreography, to bring this story to life. A short dance performance of selections from the Holiday favorite, the "Nutcracker", follows. Illustrated by Lesley Anderson, this story is perfect for children and the author-reading and book signing is a perfect gift for the Holidays!
