BoSoma Dance Company of Boston is set to perform at 8 p.m. on October 2nd & 3rd, 2009 at Hampshire College's Main Dance Theater. Led by co-artistic directors and former alumnae, Irada Djelassi, BFA '00, and Katherine Hooper, BFA '97, BoSoma will present two evening performances, present a Starting a Non-Profit lecture through the New York Professional Outreach Program, and teach master classes to current UMass and Five College Dance Program students. Following each performance, BoSoma dancers and artistic directors will host a question and answer session. The Company members and directors hope to show, through example, that UMass provides opportunities to nurture rewarding careers and passionate lives.
